First of all, the aim of a BASICGIFT youth mass is fundamentally to help bring more teens deeper into mass. That's two fold: Bringing more teens in, and bringing them deeper. In other words, we want all those teens who are not going to mass to come to mass, and we want those teens who come to mass to pray, sing, and participate deeper and more fully each time they come to mass. That's the goal.

After we help a teen make that first step to really getting into the mass, the mass takes them up - and they come for the sole reason of Christ.

BASICGIFT nurtures the spiritual, emotional, educational and social needs of the youth at Holy Spirit Parish, St Clair. We do this by providing a loving environment at our Youth masses and Youth nights in order for them to effectively grow in knowledge of the Catholic faith, Mass and especially to be able to experience Christ in their every day lives.
